It’s time to blast off for some fun in a galaxy far, far away. Space Tale is no ordinary slot game! It takes a winning combination of luck and skill for the player to fulfil his galactic quest and give this tale a happy ending. The player spins the reels in the hopes of collecting winning combinations and bonus points. A progressive jackpot adds an extra jolt of excitement. In the bonus round, video gaming skills are a must as the player blasts enemy ships and dodges menacing asteroids and mines on course to the Evil Emperor’s space station. Do you have the right stuff to save the universe and reap heroic rewards?

When the player opens the game, he is informed of his mission: to reclaim the stolen galactic crystals from the Evil Emperor.

In the main game, the player can choose to play up to 9 paylines on each spin. A winning combination is comprised of 2-5 matching symbols that appear along any active payline from the far left reel to the right.

The player can win 8, 15 or 30 free spins by hitting at least three free spin (“scatter”) symbols on an active payline. The wild symbol can substitute for any reel symbol in a winning combination except the free spin, bonus or jackpot symbol. Five jackpot symbols along an active payline hits the progressive Grand Jackpot! The entire jackpot can be won on a maximum coin/line bet.

In each spin, the player has the chance to rack up bonus points whenever a bonus symbol appears on any reel. Each time the circling rocket ship appears, the player earns a number of bonus points equal to the number of lines multiplied by the number of credits bet on the spin. When the player has accumulated at least 250 bonus points or more, he is asked to select a spaceship pilot. Will it be Lt. Lizzy, the dashing Captain Corben or the toad-like Commander Gordo? When the player amasses 500 bonus points, he chooses the configuration of his ship in regards to three vital characteristics: manoeuvrability, weapon power and shield strength. With at least 750 points, the player selects a route to the space station; and with 1000 bonus points, the swerving and blasting begins!

The bonus round is an interstellar war! Can you blast through the enemy guard without suffering fatal damage to your ship?

The successful completion of each of the four stages of the bonus round rewards the player with an honorary Space Squad badge and a better chance to earn a greater total bonus prize. In the first three stages, the player uses his keyboard keys to steer the ship and shoot down enemy spaceships while avoiding oncoming fire, asteroids and mines. Each time the ship is hit, its power is diminished. Power can be improved, however, by passing over shield and weapon power symbols. If the ship is completely damaged, it crashes onto a nearby planet. Depending on how far the player has come, he is able to zap 1-4 aliens, each which reveals a bonus prize.

If the player successfully completes the fourth stage by disabling the weapons on the Evil Emperor’s space station, he is able to board and choose five of the stolen galactic crystals, each worth a hidden bonus prize. The galaxy is then safe from the Emperor – at least until the next game round begins!

The optional Autoplay function allows players to sit back and rest their mouse arms while up to 100 spins are gener-ated consecutively based on the same bet. Naturally, the player can stop the Autoplay sequence at any time. The Autoplay sequence also pauses to allow the player to play in the bonus roun
